Description
Most realistic and practical silicone face to transform your sim-man for more engaging simulation training.
Frank represents aEuropean male mid 70s with a moustache.
MEDICFX facial overlays are created with a very soft and durable Silicone. They are designed to fit most manikins, and this particular face will fit best on the Laerdal SimMan
Each face has been hand painted by our FX artists to create an original and realistic design.
A wig is attached to the facial overlay, making it easy to wrap over the manikin. Eyebrows, and sideburns are punched in the silicone for added realism.
The back of our model has a convenient strap fastened with velcro, so putting the face on the manikin is very easy. [no stretching or pulling over the manikin's head is required.]
It is also less claustrophobic for Standard Patients to wear.
MEDICFX facial overlays, add realism in simulation training. Making scenarios more believable and engaging. These overlays assist with participant immersion, helping to transform your simulator into any age, gender, or race.
Our facial overlays can be worn by Standard Patients as well, depending a little on the face shape of the wearer. Scenarios can be extended by moving the overlay from a Standard Patient to a manikin, maintaining continuity and immersion for your participants in the chosen scenario
We cater for custom designs, and each face can be created in various skin tones, different wigs and paint work. We can add operable features to certain face designs such as bleeding points.
Care instructions:
Please treat the facial overlays with respect, as you would treat any real human face.
Do not overstretch eye or mouth openings.
Do NOT pull on any hair.
Store the facial overlay out of direct sunlight and in a cool environment.
You can gently brush the hair, however, avoid the hair roots or edge of the wig to avoid damage.
As Silicone is an oil based product, it may become a little shiny over time. Wipe off any oily residue with Isopropyl Alcohol. You can use translucent powder and brush it over shiny areas.
The model can be washed with warm soapy water and disinfected with isopropyl Alcohol.
If necessary, the hair can be washed with warm water and a little shampoo/ conditioner, then dried with a hairdryer on a low setting.
Store away from direct sunlight.
If, in the most unlikely case, you need to repair the face, this can be done with a Silicone Repair kit. silicone repair kit from MedicFXFor more information on how to repair your silicone facial overlay, check out our instructional video here on YouTube: MEDICFX NZ
